“We are sceptical about the success of
the gold monetisation scheme as it will be very difficult for the
consumers to reach out to the hallmarking centres, which are generally
inaccessible and not located in convenient areas. Besides, 350
hallmarking centres are not sufficient to cover the length and breadth
of the country.”
