Jewellers witness marginal growth in sales on Akshaya Tritiya; high gold prices restrict sales volume

Gold jewellery demand on the auspicious day of 'Akshaya Tritiya' remained quiet due to high prices of the precious metal. Gold was trading at Rs.2850 per gram today as compared to Rs.2550 per gram last year.
