India's polished diamond exports fall 2% in June

India's polished diamond exports fell 2.2 per cent year on year to US $1.854 billion in June, according to provisional data from the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC). Trading volume fell 6.8 per cent to 2.626 million carats. Polished imports contracted 63.8 per cent to US $234 million,
