Today a major fire broke out in the Navrathan
Jewellery showroom on MG Road, Bangalore. Though there were no
casualties reported, a large amount of jewellery
inventory was said to have been destroyed. The total loss is yet to be
estimated. The fire which started at 10.30 am today is still not
completely extinguished although fire fighters are on the job. The
reason for the fire outbreak is still under investigation.
