Reader’s Response : Onus on all stakeholders
The intent of the Modi Govt on gold is very clear. They want gold to be a productive asset. The question is no longer whether the schemes will work or not, but whether all the stakeholders will
do their bit to make it successful.

Reader’s Response : Timely review
Your cover story on the gold schemes was well-written and presented. Similiar schemes have been formulated in the past, but they didn’t succeed. Those schemes were neither given coverage nor were they promoted like this. The present schemes have the potential to attract investment. But timely review of the scheme is a must.

Reader’s Response : Build gold infrastructure
The cover story 'Why gold has become Modi Govt's favourite asset?' highlighted some very important aspects of the gold schemes. The schemes are devised to make gold an integral part of the larger financial system. But the current gold eco-system is insufficient to handle the schemes.

Give more time
Thank you for your cover story on the gold schemes. It has really changed my view on these schemes. With the expert comments on what these gold schemes can do for our economy, I was able to understand their hidden potentials. I think we all should look at these schemes with a positive outlook and give them time to succeed.
